Your first appointment is mostly about information, ours and yours. Our team greets you, collects your completed forms, and gets you settled. History review comes first, then digital x-rays where they are needed, then a full exam of teeth, gums, and soft tissue with an oral cancer screening. If it helps to see what we see, we can put intraoral photos up on the screen.

Then we talk. A new dental office can feel uncertain, so nothing here gets rushed. We explain what we found in plain language, answer whatever you ask, and lay out your options along with what each one involves. By the time you leave, you should know where your oral health stands and what you want to do next. If you are nervous, say so at the start; pillows, blankets, TV, music, and sedation are all available at our Edwardsville office.
