What can I expect with all-on-x implants?

woman during dental exam in edwardsville ilYour tooth-replacement journey begins with a comprehensive consultation. Using digital scans and x-rays, we will assess your oral health and determine if all-on-x is appropriate for your needs.

Getting All-on-X

We’ll keep you informed, explaining what the procedure involves and the steps to expect, including:

Precise Planning — Using sophisticated 3-D imaging, we’ll map out the optimal placement of your implants and create a surgical guide to ensure precise results and long-term implant success.

Implant Placement — First, we will carefully extract any remaining teeth, if necessary. Next, the dentist will expertly place the pre-determined number of implants in your jawbone. We offer sedation options for your complete comfort, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation.

Temporary Denture — We attach a temporary denture to the implants, so you don’t have to go without teeth and can leave our office the same day with a complete smile.

Final Restoration — Over the next several months, the implants fuse with your bone. This process is called osseointegration. We will monitor your progress and, when healing is complete, attach a custom-made permanent denture to complete your smile transformation.
